Development of B2B applications for a multi-system operator

InDigital is the pan-Indian digital cable brand from IndusInd Media & Communications; one of India’s leading Multi System Operator with 3mn connected digital television homes and a reach of over 6mn households. InDigital has a presence in 36 cities in India and boasts of an owned network spanning 10,000 kms of trunk and access HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial) network. The company has several firsts to its credit in offering customers a unique television viewing experience.

The Assignment

InDigital sought the services of CastleMedia to deliver a series of B2B applications to optimize its subscriber management systems and billing processes. The engagement included design and operationalization of multiple portals and mobile applications that ensure InDigital and its franchisees are able to optimize their processes and enhance the quality of service to their customers.

The project transformed the Indian cable television industry with InDigital being the first MSO in the country to go “pre-paid” and offer its franchisees a suite of applications online and on-mobile, to manage their networks seamlessly from just about anywhere.
